Second Mango Festival 2024
This was another Mango Festival with a greater variety of mango products. I was told at this Mango Festival I would see various food items that are infused with mango, and it did not disappoint as it showcased the inventiveness of people in Trinidad with food products, particularly with the use of mango. In addition to the mango-based food items there were a range of mango varieties on sale, including some that are not often seen in Trinidad and Tobago. This Mango Festival was held at the Namdevco Market at Macoya Trinidad.

The area behind the Port of Spain Trinidad Movie Towne complex was originally mudflats and a large mangrove swamp. There is a link below where you can see what they previously looked like. Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas may seem a long way off but having a stress-free Christmas season requires planning and preparation. One of the staples of a Trinidad and Tobago Christmas, indeed every Caribbean Christmas, is sorrel. I want to ensure that I have sorrel to drink, so I am planting at the traditional time of Corpus Christi to be able to reap sorrel at Christmas. The Corpus Christi holiday in Trinidad an...

Part of the group are retired men enjoying retirement in Trinidad and Tobago, so we were able to attend the Beachfront Jazz and also stay some extra days to enjoy Tobago. Maracas Breakfast Morning

We are heading to Maracas Beach Trinidad but wanted something different from the usual quick Trinidad beakfast street food of allo pie or bake and salt fish or doubles. We are retired so we do not mind if the breakfast takes a little longer to prepare. We have the time to sit and enjoy the food and then go to the beach. So this weekday morning we are taking advantage of our retirement and going...

Hot Walk in a Pine Forest

This was a nature walk with an unexpected and unwanted surprise. The pine forest at North Post on Trinidad's Northern Range is for some an easy mini hike and is a place to visit in Trinidad with historical significance and lovely sea views. Nice to see developments taking place of world class
Nice place for sandals to come and set up
@@anandsankar697 They wouldn't choose there because they want somewhere with sandy beaches.
My friend you appear to be a stranger to the politics of the pnm. When they announce a project, don't expect to see it in your lifetime. If it is started, it usually takes forever to complete with over-runs and delays, and plenty people getting rich. So you have to live long enough to see the completion of such. Check the age of the Point Fortin highway. pnm highjacked that project and is now spending three times more to finish it in 2045, even though it was almost finished under the previous government.. So good luck my friend, if you live long enough you may see it halfway finished before you pass on.
I travel recently on the Ferry, but didn’t know about premium class. I was travelling from the uk, my friend in Trinidad booked tickets. Looks cool and relaxed. Next time I will travel on premium.

i own no land and working to pay rent cause cause if living high. covid 19 came and lock down cause products prices to go up. Things back to normal and the prices never went back down. If you decide to build a structure to live in , that is state land, machine come to break it down. a time on utube i saw a man had a scuffle with the police then ran. He was shot maybe died , his brother was there. The police move like they just killed a fly.
they bring all the land when the come on the ships. they own it they put it there
protection of animals habitat they should put
Is that plantation?
Yes
thanksaa
You are welcome
Beautiful land reclamation. Hoping the public has access to the area when this project is completed The Gov't 10:15 should provide some sort of Public Park in there so this would not be a "private" place for the privileged.
Udecott has claimed that a park is part of the project. We wait to see.
That is a huge area, I guess time will reveal what happens next
Absolutely correct.
